Craft Beer 2mugi Rotates Six Taps, Opens Minoh x Mikkeller Plum Sour
The Akihabara beer pub Craft Beer 2mugi has released its Thursday draft lineup. Six beers are on tap, including Minoh Beer x Mikkeller's plum sour and Katashina Brewing's session IPA, and Inkhorn Brewing's Lapwing #2 has also been announced as the next likely tap.
Today’s Taps
In the "Today's Draft Lineup" shared by Craft Beer 2mugi, six taps were swapped out at once. The lineup is Ume-chu, Under the high blue sky, Sun Dance, Nagi -Nagi-, Boss Level, and Morning Coffee Stout. From fruit sour ale to IPA, wheat ale, kölsch, and stout, it is a lineup with a clearly wide range of flavors.
Built around the tartness of plum, Ume-chu is a collaboration between Minoh Beer and Mikkeller. It is a beer that creates a refreshing opening, and pairs well as an aperitif. Under the high blue sky is a session IPA from Katashina Brewing, suited to those looking for something light and easygoing. Sun Dance is CAVE D'OCCI BREWING's wheat ale, and Nagi -Nagi- is Swan Lake Beer's Cologne-style kölsch; both are easy picks for people who prefer beers with a clean, balanced finish.
In the second half, Garage Project's Boss Level is marked LOW STOCK. Anyone wanting to enjoy its hop intensity should check it out soon. Closing things out is Baird Beer's Morning Coffee Stout, which brings a calm finish with roasted notes and a coffee aftertaste. In addition, Inkhorn Brewing's Lapwing #2 has been announced as the next likely tap, making this a lineup that is hard to miss even when looking ahead to the next rotation.
