Tokyo's Setagaya Ward Minami-Karasuyama Novel Craft announced a "Pizza Day by Tyson Pizza" at its sister shop reverb. In the post, the main Novel Craft location said it would continue its regular service and welcome purchases of bottles and cans, as well as takeout. Not only can you stop in for a beer, you can also buy some to take home for drinking there too, which feels very on-brand for this place.

The tap list for the day had eight beers. In addition to Garage × LHG / ADRENOCHROME, Trap Door / Trap Door IPA, Bellwoods / Grisette, and Minoh Beer / Pilsner, it also featured Novel Craft Brewing / Over Dub, Wah, Sweep, and Field Ales / Blend Pale. The lineup brings together distinctive imported brewery picks and the house brand's standard and new releases, offering a wide range of styles.

For glass pours, kemker / Appel Wine no.03-2022 was also highlighted. It is an oak-barrel-aged cider matured for one year, with notes said to evoke pineapple and lemon in addition to apple aroma. Mixing in fermented drinks like this, not just beer, is another part of the shop's craft-focused lineup.

On the food side, Sichuan mapo-tofu-style keema was also available. It is seasoned with sansho pepper while keeping the heat moderate, and you can also choose the portion size. It makes for an easy setup both for a night spent savoring each individual tap and for drinking alongside a meal.

Paired with reverb's Pizza Day, Novel Craft in Chitose-Karasuyama offers a drinking style that feels unique to that day. On days when both locations are active, the post conveyed both the breadth of the shop's beer selection and the flexibility of its operating style.
