The underground bar umbrella in Sonezaki, Kita Ward, Osaka, posted an announcement on Instagram saying it will open at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29. The post showed a total of five taps combining craft beer and standard draft options, forming a lineup that feels typical of a beer pub where people can stop by for a drink on the way home from work.

Today's Draft Taps

- Kiwi IPA / Two Rabbits Brewing (Shiga) - New Zealand IPA
- ★ Ichigo Ichie / Egre Brewery (Hyogo) x umbrella (Osaka) - Fruit Ale
- Kozaru IPA / Minoh Beer (Osaka) - Session IPA
- Draft Guinness / Guinness - Draught Guinness
- Kirin Lager / Kirin Brewery (JP) - Lager

This time, the lineup includes a New Zealand IPA from Shiga's Two Rabbits Brewing, a fruit ale collaboration between Hyogo's Egre Brewery and Osaka's umbrella, and a session IPA from Osaka's Minoh Beer, while Draft Guinness and Kirin Lager are also available. The appeal is that, while the focus is on craft beer, the selection also ranges widely to include dark beer and lager.

The shop's information also says that a value beer voucher is on sale, good for six small-size beers. At the underground umbrella, it can also be used for Guinness pints; it costs 5,800 yen, is valid for six months from the date of purchase, and will end once sold out. For people who want to sample several draft beers little by little in a tucked-away basement location, it is a very practical option.

The schedule for the coming days has also been announced: closed on Sunday, May 31; both locations closed on Thursday, June 4; closed on Sunday, June 7; and closed on Sunday, June 14. If you are planning a visit, it is worth checking the business days in advance.
