At Beer shop Llama in Mitaka, Shiga Kogen Beer’s 'from scratch' and KUNITACHI’s 'Kab' have been newly tapped. Beer shop Llama is a beer pub and bottle shop in the Mitaka Station area, and its appeal is that you can enjoy draught beer in the shop while also choosing bottles to take home.
The two beers tapped this time are both strongly distinctive. 'from scratch' is a Blonde Ale at ABV 5.0%, brewed with 100% Pilsner malt, six hops from the US and New Zealand, and homegrown Cascade. It combines bright citrus notes reminiscent of grapefruit and lemon with a firm bitterness.
Meanwhile, 'Kab' is the third collaboration between KUNITACHI and "Puni Puni Denki," and it is an IPA. At ABV 6.0%, it layers aromas reminiscent of resin and pine sap with citrus notes of orange and grapefruit, plus a green, grassy impression. It is introduced as a beer with a clearly defined bitterness from the first sip through the finish.
