On April 2, RIOT BEER announced from its taproom in Kinuta, Setagaya Ward that it would be open from 3 PM to 9 PM. In the post, it called the day "Thursday-Friday Hardcore Days," inviting people to get through the spring new-fiscal-year mood and the misery of pollen with mega-sized Riot Beer.

RIOT BEER is a brewpub within walking distance of Soshigaya-Okura Station on the Odakyu Line. Its signature is a malt-forward finish that brings out the sweetness and aroma of malt, and it brews a wide range of styles including English, Belgian, and American. One of its appeals is being able to enjoy a solid, full-bodied pint in a calm taproom.

This post also conveys a relaxed atmosphere of spending time indoors with music playing. By offering beer in a larger size, and with a vibe that makes it easy to keep drinking from the first pint without overthinking it, the place also suits a casual stop on the way home from work. In early April, there are also plans such as the Fujisawa Beer Fest, a tap takeover in Kodenmacho, and the RIOT Anniversary Party, making it a busy period with activity both inside the shop and at outside events. While checking the spring schedule, starting with one pint at the taproom on April 2 seems like the right way to enjoy it.
