May 27 arrival information

The Beer Shop Hirakata city, directly connected to Hirakata-shi Station in Osaka, revealed its incoming beers in an Instagram post on May 27. The main highlight this time is a restock from Tokyo's FETISH CLUB. Items that sold out almost immediately last time have been brewed again and are now on the shelf.

From left to right in the photo are DARE, Miracle, Ultra, and Seaside FETISH CLUB. They are introduced as a salt lemon RICE IPA, a 3.5% DDH session IPA, a HAZY IPA using kumquat, and an "ever-evolving standard IPA," respectively, showing clearly different flavor directions despite coming from the same brewery.

Today's draft lineup

The draft lineup includes Sapporo Beer's "Black Label," plus Craft Bank Brewery (Kyoto)'s "Bank IPA," "Bank Cold IPA," "El Clasico," and "Bitter Bug," as well as Primary Barrels (Kyoto)'s "Funmar." The range is broad, from a classic lager to hop-forward IPAs and even a cold IPA whose character may shift with serving temperature, making it ideal for comparison tasting.

An easy stop in Hirakata

The Beer Shop Hirakata city is set up around a counter, making it easy to stop in for a quick drink. With the adjacent Hirakata Smoking Workshop next door, you can enjoy not only beer but also pairings with smoked snacks. Since you can either buy beer to take home or drink it on the spot, it's an easy place to stop by after work or while transferring trains.

This post also touched on upcoming summer event pop-ups and new release activity, so the lineup ahead is likely to attract attention as well.
