Kagurazaka BEER OLYN Taps Uchu's New ATOM PASSIONFRUIT
The beer pub "BEER OLYN" in Tokyo's Kagurazaka shared its new tap lineup in a March 18 post. Centered on Uchu Brewing's "ATOM PASSIONFRUIT," the selection also includes a range of distinct taps, from West Coast IPA and Coffee Stout to Kölsch and Hazy IPA.
Kagurazaka-area craft beer spot BEER OLYN (DEAR Kagurazaka 3F, 64-4 Yarai-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) updated its latest tap information on Instagram.
The highlight this time is "ATOM PASSIONFRUIT", introduced as a new arrival from @uchubrewing.japan (Yamanashi Prefecture). Its style is Tropical Smoothie Sour, and the ABV is 5.5%. In the post, it is described as featuring the refreshing character of passion fruit along with the rich mouthfeel contributed by coconut cream.
The other labels listed as "now on tap" are as follows:
- BREW CLASSIC "Let's La Pause" (West Coast IPA)
- BALDYS GOODBEER "NO HANDLE BARS" (Coffee Stout)
- Dieu Du Ciel! "Sentinelle" (Kölsch)
- WAR "RAGE" (West Coast IPA)
- nomodachi "oboroterasu" (Hazy IPA)
From the tropical direction of the smoothie sour to the bitterness of the IPAs, and further to the roasted character of the coffee-derived stout and the lightness of the Kölsch, this is a lineup with a wide range for comparison drinking. For a night when you want to choose each pint carefully in Kagurazaka, it feels like a well-balanced selection that is very much BEER OLYN.
