GROW BREW HOUSE Releases "Nishikawa Orange"

The brewpub "GROW BREW HOUSE" in Nishikawaguchi, Kawaguchi City, Saitama, has released the sour ale "Nishikawa Orange". In a post, it was introduced as a beer finished in the best weather and humidity, aiming for a taste like a 100% fruit juice citrus drink, with lactic-acid-derived tartness and hop aroma.

According to the shop's posts, GROW BREW HOUSE is a brewpub that values being "made close to the people who drink it." Its appeal is that you can enjoy house-brewed beer on the spot in a small space centered around the counter. The relaxed distance makes it easy to drink casually and talk about brewing, and that can be said to be one of the pleasures unique to this shop.

Public Brewing and Curry Days from May 5 to 7

At the same time, for the three days of May 5, 6, and 7, the shop will hold "public brewing" and "Namaste Curry Days." It opens at 12:00, and visitors can watch the actual brewing process inside the shop. Since you can see processes such as milling, mashing, lautering, and boiling up close, it should be a chance for beer lovers to experience the brewing site firsthand.

During this period, curry will also be served alongside the beer. In the post, the shop said it planned to offer around two kinds of spice-forward curry as "Grow Curry." The setup, where you can drink beer from noon while enjoying the aroma of brewing and spicy dishes, seems like it will make for a very brewpub-like day.

Tap List

The tap list announced in the post is below.

- Mikkusu 7% / Milk Shake IPA
- Ama Natsu Wheat Lager 4% / Fruits Wheat Lager
- Heiji 6% / Hazy IPA
- Onaji Hanashi 9% / Barley Wine
- Pottering 6% / Saison
- Nishikawa Orange 5% / Sour Ale

In addition to "Nishikawa Orange," which has a refreshing citrus character, the lineup also ranges widely in style, with Milk Shake IPA, Hazy IPA, Barley Wine, and Saison. As you'd expect from a shop attached to a brewery, it is a lineup that makes it easy to compare beers depending on your mood that day.

Three days in Nishikawaguchi where you can enjoy house-brewed beer and the heat of the brewing process at the same time. It seems like you'll be able to savor the close-up beer time that is so typical of GROW BREW HOUSE.
