The beer pub “umbrella,” located in Osaka’s Ohatsu Tenjin area, began business at 6:00 p.m. on June 1. In an Instagram post, it announced one new tap: Ise Kadoya Beer’s “Hop Nyaon 11th Fleet.” It also shared a lineup of five draft beers available that day.

Today's Draft Beers

- Hop Nyaon 11th Fleet / Ise Kadoya Beer (Mie) DDH Hazy IPA
- Ichigo Ichie / Igre Brewery × Umbrella Fruit Ale
- Umechuu / Minoh Beer Fruit Ale
- Draft Guinness / Guinness
- Kirin Lager / Kirin Brewery Lager

The post also said that “value beer tickets” are on sale, good for six drinks at the smallest size of each craft beer, priced at 5,800 yen. They are valid for six months from the date of purchase, and sales end once they run out. At the basement Umbrella, Guinness pints are also covered, so it is convenient for anyone who wants a proper stout.

The shop is in the basement of the Matsuda Building in Sonezaki, Kita Ward, Osaka. With its hidden-gem feel at the entrance to Ohatsu Tenjin, it works well both as a place to stop in for just one drink after work and as a place to settle in and enjoy drinks with food. Its official website also describes it as a place with dishes that pair well with beer, making it a good fit for readers who want to enjoy both the tap rotation and the food.
