TAROS Brewing releases ISOTONIC2026 cans at hangout in Hiroshima
Hangout, the Hiroshima beer pub operated by TAROS Brewing, has started pouring and selling cans of its new DDH Sour IPA, ISOTONIC2026. On Wednesday, September 2, the pub is open from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with wholesale sales set to begin the next day at 3:00 p.m.
Hangout, located in Hiroshima’s Honkawa area, is TAROS Brewing’s directly operated beer pub. The brewing equipment is visible through the glass, and the venue also stocks a wide selection of domestic and imported bottled beers. With burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other food on offer, it is an easy place to build a beer-focused meal.
In the September 2 post, hangout announced that it would be open from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. that day, and that the new beer would first be released in cans. Wholesale sales for business accounts were scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. the following day, showing the release was moving forward on both the taproom and distribution sides.
The beer is ISOTONIC2026. It is a DDH Sour IPA at 6.0% ABV, brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Dolcita, and Mosaic hops, plus Chardonnay juice and honey. The post highlights a white-wine-like aroma from the hop and grape character, along with firm acidity and a well-balanced body.
Built on last year’s well-received ISOTONIC, this 2026 version was refined by adding honey before fermentation, resulting in a cleaner finish. With bright acidity and hop aroma leading the profile, it should suit the lingering warm season well. It looks like a beer that works both as a fresh pour at the pub and as a can to take home and enjoy at a slower pace.
