Located on the basement first floor near Kyodo Station, "Magic Hour Kyodo" is a beer pub offering six taps of domestic craft beer along with curry and spice dishes such as achar. In an Instagram post, MAHOW BREW's (Okinawa) "Ophelia" was introduced as a new tap.

This beer is an Imperial Gose made with shikuwasa juice from Nago City, sea salt from Yagaji Island, and purees of passion fruit, guava, and mango. Coriander seed has also been added to give it a subtle spice note. Designed with a balance of saltiness, acidity, and sweetness in mind, it centers on tropical fruit character while delivering the crisp finish typical of a Gose.

"Magic Hour Kyodo" is appealing not only for its beer, but also for the food. Paired with spice curry or achar, Ophelia's fruitiness and saltiness should come through even more clearly. For those who want to confirm a beer's character alongside the food, this lineup is a strong fit.

Because it is a shop where the tap lineup changes, additions like this guest beer tend to become a good reason to visit. If you're drinking craft beer in Kyodo, you can enjoy choosing that day's pint alongside a meal in the calm basement space.
