The beer pub Beer House Hobbit in Kawaramachi, Hirakata City, Osaka, revealed its draft beer lineup for April 13 on Instagram. The main highlight this time is the tapping of Minoh Beer’s “Rockin Osaru IPA.”

“Rockin Osaru IPA” is presented as a beer with a rich aroma reminiscent of grapefruit and ripe tropical fruit, layered with citrusy freshness, malt sweetness, hop-derived bitterness, and a dry finish. It is crafted so that it never feels too heavy as you keep drinking, while still letting you fully enjoy the distinct character of an IPA.

The shop also recommended fish katsu as a food pairing. The suggestion is clearly designed with the bitterness of beer and fried food in mind, making the tap takeover experience easy to appreciate. Beer House Hobbit operates as a community-focused beer pub where guests can enjoy rotating draft beers together with food pairings.

In addition to that day’s featured beer, several other distinctive brews were also on tap.

- Beer House Hobbit × Shima Brewery “AOSORA Refresh Lager”
- Onidensetsu Brewery “Kinki Pale Ale - Mosaic Ringru ver. -”
- Rise & Win Brewing “Kamikatsu Stout”
- Minoh Beer “Rockin Osaru IPA”
- Hirakata Beer “Session Citra White”

Alongside breweries from Osaka, the lineup also included beers from Mie, Hokkaido, and Tokushima, offering a wide range for comparison tasting. If you are looking for draft beer in Hirakata, Beer House Hobbit’s daily lineup is one to check.
