Onaji Anano Mujina opens today's five taps with Oni Densetsu "Kinki" and root+branch
On April 24, Kobe's Sannomiya beer pub Onaji Anano Mujina posted today's taps and food on Instagram. In addition to draft beer from Oni Densetsu, root+branch, and open air, the lineup also includes plenty of cans such as Messorem and Fidens, along with masala cashew nuts and 2Bro pizza.
Kobe's Sannomiya beer pub Onaji Anano Mujina is a craft beer specialty shop on the first floor of a building in the center of Dongmon-gai. The owner only connects breweries they consider "delicious" to the taps, and fresh cans and bottles from Japan and overseas can also be enjoyed inside the shop.
In the April 24 post, the shop announced business hours of 18:00 to 22:45, with 5 of the 7 draft lines in operation. On tap were Oni Densetsu's "Kinki Pale Ale Comet Single Ver." from Noboribetsu, Hokkaido; BreakEdge's "REC" from Hiroshima; rootandbranch's "Propeller" from New York, U.S.; open air's "southern winds" from Kobe, Hyogo; and another rootandbranch beer, "The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivisim - Chapter I: Ignorance is Strength."
The can selection was equally packed with hop-forward labels, including Messorem, TEST, everywhere, Du Bas, ONE DROP, ghost town, Fidens, Lumen, RaR, Deep Fried Beer, and BMB. As the post itself said, it was "all heavy stuff," and the lineup featured full-bodied IPAs and collaboration cans.
Food includes masala cashew nuts, 2Bro pizza, and Nama-chan's snacks. Bringing in items other than drinks is allowed, but perfume is discouraged, and strongly scented foods and dried squid are not allowed. In Sannomiya, it's the kind of place where you can take your time drinking while keeping an eye on tap turnover and the can inventory.
