BMB Brewery to Release New Okinawa Collaboration "Vibesmooth" on March 4 at 3:00 PM
Miyazaki's BMB Brewery announced the release of its new collaboration beer, "Vibesmooth," on Instagram. It will go on sale at 3:00 PM on March 4, 2026. A Smoothie Sour made with yuzu, shikuwasa, and peach, it has an ABV of 4.0%. It will be released as a cross-collaboration with Okinawa's @agarihama_brewery.
BMB Brewery announced its new release, "Vibesmooth," in a post made at 3:44 PM on March 3, 2026. The announcement said, "3/4 Wed. 15:00 Release!!" and identified the style as Smoothie Sour. The adjunct ingredients are yuzu, shikuwasa, and peach, with an ABV of 4.0%.
According to the post, the collaboration with @agarihama_brewery was decided after one of the company staff members had a DJ gig scheduled in Okinawa. The concept is to pack the tropical atmosphere of both Miyazaki and Okinawa into a single glass.
The flavor description says the aroma leads with shikuwasa, followed by layers of yuzu. The taste is built around the sharp acidity of yuzu and shikuwasa, with peach bringing everything together toward the finish. The combination of a lower ABV and fruit-forward ingredients seems aimed at balancing easy drinkability with a rich aromatic profile.
BMB Brewery is based in Miyazaki and began brewing in Jingu, Miyazaki City, in November 2018. In July 2024, it expanded its brewing base to Kiyotake in Miyazaki City, and has continued operating under the slogan "From beer to culture." This latest release appears to be a collaboration with an out-of-prefecture brewery that embodies that concept.
