The New “Stay Nutty” Arrives

Streetlight Brewing, located in Chuo Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido, has released a new beer called “Stay Nutty.” It is a limited-line porter-style beer at 5.0% ABV, accented with hazelnut.

In its post, the brewery describes porter as a “dark ale-born beer from London.” It says the roasted malt brings a savory aroma, layered with notes reminiscent of coffee and cocoa, and that chilling it makes it crisp and easy to enjoy. By combining that with the aroma of hazelnut, the beer is designed to complement flavors like chocolate and coffee.

“Stay Nutty” is now being served at the taproom, and nationwide shipping is planned to begin on May 18. Streetlight Brewing’s taproom is open from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays, with last orders taken 15 minutes before closing. Outside food is allowed, canned beer can be taken out, and it is also easy to visit with children or pets.

The brewery is located a short distance from Sapporo Station, making it easy to stop by while still offering the casual feel of a brewery and the atmosphere to slowly savor a drink. For anyone who wants to check out a dark beer with roasted character and nutty nuance, this “Stay Nutty” release is worth a look.
