Mugibar is a beer pub in the Kamata area of Tokyo. It is also described as a dog-friendly spot, making it a local place that works for both an after-work pint and a relaxed weekend visit.
In the latest post, the shop announces a change to its weekend opening time: service on Saturdays and Sundays will start at 4:30 p.m. Weekdays remain at 5:00 p.m. The bar closes at midnight every day, with last orders at 11:30 p.m. It also says it may extend hours by reservation or prior consultation.
The current taps are centered on Japanese craft breweries. The lineup includes `Ohisama Ale` from Isekado Beer in Mie, `Odawara Orange Pale Ale` from Yokohama Beer in Kanagawa, `SUN SUN SUN - PINK CLIMBER` from GRANDLINE BREWING in Kanagawa, `Kyomo Manten` from Reishiro Beer in Shizuoka, and `Jukusen` from Asahi as a pilsner. The next beers listed are `W-IPA` from Minoh Beer in Osaka and `Nekojima` from Isekado Beer in Mie. With a mix of XPA, fruit ale, lager, hazy IPA, and pilsner, the tap list should appeal especially to IPA fans. Lamb jingisukan is also on offer, giving the bar a food-and-beer pairing that feels easy to enjoy.
