The Beer Shop Hirakata city is a craft-beer-focused pub inside Hirakata Sunplaza Building 3, directly connected to Keihan Hirakata-shi Station. It runs as a standing bar, does not take reservations, and is easy to drop into for a quick pint or a longer tasting stop. The shop also doubles as a place to buy bottles and cans to take home.

For Tuesday, June 16, the bar announced a fresh draft lineup led by Sapporo Brewery's Black Label. The board also includes Codebreaker from Trademark Brewing in the U.S., El Clasico and Bank Lager from Craftbank Brewery in Kyoto, and Session Citra White from Hirakata Beer in Osaka. One tap is still listed as coming soon, so the lineup is intentionally fluid.

The mix is broad: a familiar lager anchor, hop-forward import and Japanese craft options, and a local Hirakata beer that keeps the lineup tied to its neighborhood. Because the shop sits right next to the station, it is an easy stop for a weekday drink, a pre-game pint, or a quick tasting session while the taps are fresh.
