Yokohama Bay Brewing Kannai is hosting BAY OKTOBERFEST with 14 beers from Yokohama Bay Brewing. The lineup includes award-winning Bay Pilsner, lagers, weiss beers and an IPA, alongside the limited-return dish Jäger Schnitzel.
Yokohama Bay Brewing Kannai, a beer pub in Fukutomicho, Yokohama, is currently holding BAY OKTOBERFEST. The pub is open from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with last orders at 10:30 p.m. Guests ordering a one-liter Maß mug receive a 100-yen discount.
The beer menu features 14 beers from Yokohama Bay Brewing. Bay Pilsner is highlighted as a gold medal winner at the 2025 World Beer Cup. The rest of the lineup includes SAAZ419, Tag Lager, Bay Dark, Bay Weiss, Yuzu Weiss, Bay Helles, Weekend Journey, Abunai Deka Pilsner, Uncle Linne, Classic Is New, Rendezvous, Heavy Climb and Team Up IPA.
The selection covers a wide range of drinking experiences, from crisp lagers and pilsners to wheat-forward weiss beers, darker malt-driven beer and a hop-focused IPA. It offers plenty of opportunities to compare the brewery’s different approaches in one visit.
The food highlight is Jäger Schnitzel, which has returned following strong customer demand. Thinly pounded pork is marinated in Bay Pilsner, fried until crisp and served with a cream sauce made with white mushrooms. The sauce has been slightly revised from the previous version and is described as aromatic and rich in umami. The dish is available in limited quantities.
With its house beers, German-inspired food and casual beer-pub setting, Yokohama Bay Brewing Kannai provides a fitting place to explore the brewery’s range during the autumn festival. Visitors can choose a familiar pilsner or work through the 14-beer lineup to find a new favorite.
