New Caramel Solitude tapped at Fukuoka's B.R.E.W., with a fresh batch of The O.G too
Brewpub B.R.E.W. in Arato, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, has published its tap list as of March 19, 2026. In addition to the new Caramel Solitude (Bitter Caramel Pastry Stout), a fresh batch of The O.G (West Coast IPA) is on tap, giving the lineup a broad range from core styles to higher-ABV options.
Brewpub B.R.E.W. in the Ohori area of Fukuoka updated its tap information on Instagram as of Thursday, March 19. The highlight this time is the shop's original new release, Caramel Solitude. The style is Bitter Caramel Pastry Stout, at 5.0% ABV and 20 IBU, built around roasted cocoa notes layered with the soft sweetness of lactose and the toasty aroma of bitter caramel.
The post also explains that this beer follows the Solitude series that began with Sweet Solitude, an award-winning entry at IBC 2025, making clear a balance-first approach that does not overemphasize sweetness. At the same time, a new batch of The O.G (West Coast IPA) has also been tapped, giving options for drinkers looking for a clean bitterness.
The taps for the day are:
- The Break of Dawn (Munich Helles)
- Rising Sun (Fuji Apple Ale)
- Dawnstar Snow (Belgian White)
- Evergloam (Sour Saison)
- The O.G (West Coast IPA)
- Saturated Haze (DDH Hazy W-IPA)
- The Boys in the Beer Bar (ESB)
- Caramel Solitude (Bitter Caramel Pastry Stout)
- Guinness (Stout)
- Nitro Cold Brew Coffee (non-alcoholic)
This lineup runs through lager, wheat, saison, IPA, ESB, and stout, making it easy to compare styles while pairing with food.
Set on the calm streets of Arato, B.R.E.W. is appealing for centering its own brewing character while still not missing the classic styles. Whether you're after the new release or just want to check the current tap status in Fukuoka before choosing your first pint, this is an update worth noting.
