The Susukino Ale STAND, located on B1F of COCONO SUSUKINO in Sapporo, has announced on Instagram that it has restocked beer from Shibetsu Samurai Brewery. The beer featured is "Chou". Its style is Wheat Ale, and its ABV is 5.0%.
This beer is characterized by its soft drinkability, using "Haruyokoi" wheat from Shibetsu, Hokkaido. The post explains that the bright aroma reminiscent of white grapes from New Zealand hops "Nelson Sauvin" layers over it, and while the bitterness is restrained, the flavor remains full and satisfying. Chilled, it drinks cleanly; as the temperature rises, the sweetness and aroma from the wheat become more pronounced, making it well suited for slow, relaxed drinking as well.
The shop is known as a beer pub where you can drink from 10:00 a.m., and it supports not only in-house drinking but also takeout. The post also noted that for people who think, "I was curious, but I don't have time to go buy it," or "I want to enjoy good beer at home," stock can be checked and purchased on the e-commerce site. Beyond enjoying a drink in Susukino, having the option to savor it slowly at home is another very fitting aspect of this place.
