Shizuoka-based Usami Brewery (Usami Beer Manufacturing) announced the renewal of its "Izu Lemon beer" in a post published at 11:58 p.m. on March 24, 2026. This update is the result of a collaboration with JA Fujiizu, and the brewery explained that "by blending three varieties of lemon, the beer now delivers a flavor with even more pronounced lemon character than before."

The post also noted that the product is a Grand Gold Award winner in the Fruit Beer category at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2026, making this a relaunch backed not only by a new flavor direction but also by proven recognition. It also announced that shipments will begin on March 25 and listed a wide range of retailers mainly in the Izu area, including JA Fujiizu Ideyukko Market, Izu-naka (Marina Town store and Ito Ekimae store), Don Quijote Ito store, Super Nagaya, MaxValu, souvenir shops at tourist facilities, and local liquor stores.

The company also said the beer can be purchased through its own online store, building a purchasing route for everyday use as well as tourism demand. On its official website, Usami Brewery is معرفی as the brewer behind "Usami," "Izu no Jibeer," and "Curry Lover Ale," an Izu-based craft brewery. This latest Izu Lemon beer, which clearly highlights collaboration with local agricultural products, is drawing attention as a move that advances both the use of local ingredients and the expansion of sales channels.
