Novel Craft in Setagaya highlights popular lamb-cilantro gyoza and 10 draft beers
Novel Craft in Setagaya posted its 5 p.m. opening notice on Instagram, saying its lamb-and-cilantro pan-fried gyoza remains a favorite while a Yovocco Beer collaboration is in the works. The update also listed 10 draft options spanning wild ale, saison, pilsner, IPA, and house beers.
Novel Craft, a beer pub in Minami-Karasuyama, Setagaya, shared a July 6 Instagram update with a `[17:00 OPEN]` notice. The post says the `lamb and cilantro pan-fried gyoza` remains popular, and adds that the brewery is working on a collaboration beer with `Yovocco Beer`.
The day’s lineup combined two `By The Glass` pours and eight beers on the `Tap List`:
- `Pen Druid / Spontaneous Cherrys` (Wild Ale w/ Raspberry, ABV 7.5%)
- `Another Moon / Earthly Pleasures` (Saison, ABV 5.2%)
- `Kemkur / Coolship Pils`
- `Belwoods / Come What May Dry-Hopped`
- `Ruse Brewing / Glass Shadows IPA`
- `falo × karakuri / SAGE`
- `Cave D'occi × Novel Craft / Reflection`
- `Novel Craft Brewing / Over Dub`
- `Novel Craft Brewing / BPM 80`
- `Novel Craft Brewing / Down Tempo`
The selection covers a wide range of styles, from wild ale and saison to pilsner and IPA, plus three house beers from `Novel Craft Brewing`. It is the kind of tap list that invites side-by-side tasting rather than ordering just one pint.
Set on the second floor in a building in Minami-Karasuyama, the pub is easy to drop into after work, but the beer program still feels focused. With gyoza, lamb dishes, and a rotating mix of collabs and house beers, it offers a straightforward but beer-forward stop in the Chitose-Karasuyama area.
