Brewpub Truth in Gotanda is a brewpub that connects Japanese and international craft beer, even though it is still in the stage before in-house brewing begins. Inside, heavy music plays, and the food menu includes casual, beer-friendly items such as mapo tofu rice bowls, Utsunomiya gyoza, potato chips, and smoked nuts.

In its April 10, 2026 post, the day’s lineup was introduced. The first beer that stands out is Stone Brewing's "IPA." It is followed by Katashina Brewing's "Gotanda Breath" (Scotch Ale w Chestnut, 7%) and "Under the Dark, Gotanda Sky" (Grapefruit Session IPA, 4.5%), whose locally flavored names are also memorable. Among the overseas selections are Karl Strauss Brewing Company's "Mosaic IPA" (Session IPA, 5.5%), as well as Dieu du Ciel!'s "Moralité" (American IPA, 6.9%) and "Solstice d'Ete Cerises" (Wheat Sour, 5.9%). The latter two were announced as newly tapped beers, making for a lineup with a wide range of flavors, from IPA to wheat sour.

The post also announced that the 7th anniversary campaign is ongoing, mentioning a raffle for anniversary merchandise and 15-year-aged awamori koshu. Centered on craft beer but also offering food and music to enjoy at a relaxed pace, this is one Gotanda spot worth following for tap updates.
