Inabiya Chiba Inage Beer Starts Serving New "Meteor," with Tea Notes and Blueberry Juice
The brewpub "Inabiya Chiba Inage Beer" in Inage, Chiba, announced on Instagram that it has started serving its new beer "Meteor." Built on a beer with tea-like character and layered with blueberry juice, it was released after the owner went through trial and error and let it mature until the flavors came together.
The brewpub "Inabiya Chiba Inage Beer Brewery" in Inage Ward, Chiba City, is now serving its new beer "Meteor."
According to the shop's post, the recipe is defined by a beer with tea-like nuances as its base, combined with blueberry juice. The goal was to create an "English brown beer with a berry feel," but the finished result turned out a little different from the original idea. After that, they let it sit for a while to confirm that the flavors had come together, and that led to this launch.
"Meteor" was named as something like a "sibling beer" to the shop's existing label "Sati." Rather than being just a fruit beer, it shows an experimental approach, with attention to how to connect the gentle aromas of tea-colored malts with the impression of fruit.
Inabiya is a neighborhood-focused brewpub located between JR Inage Station and Keisei Inage Station. By continually rolling out new house-brewed releases and linking them with events and local projects, it supports the craft beer scene in Chiba's Inage area. For drinkers who follow new releases, this "Meteor" also looks like a beer that offers the shop's signature process of "trying things out and then finishing them properly."
