The beer pub Cannonball Diner in Negishi, Taito Ward, Tokyo, announced its lineup for business on 3/28 (Sat.). The new arrival this time is Totopia Brewery’s Keyphobia / DDH Hazy IPA. Business hours are 11:00-15:00 (LO 14:45) and 18:00-21:00 (LO 20:45). Its location, just 4 minutes on foot from Uguisudani Station and 6 minutes on foot from Iriya Station, makes it easy to stop by either during the day or at night.

This beer has an ABV of 6.0%. The hops used are Citra, Riwaka, Simcoe, and Citra Cryo. The post describes it as a somewhat long-awaited Hazy IPA release, designed with a clean, uncluttered body layered with the gentle sweetness of malt and the smooth mouthfeel contributed by two kinds of oats. Another notable point is the use of the latest 2025 YCH crop for dry hopping.

As for the tasting impression, a soft grain aroma is joined by a bright note reminiscent of lemonade, with a faint grassy character emerging behind the contours of citrus. In a beer pub like Cannonball Diner, where food and beer are enjoyed together, this kind of aroma and mouthfeel difference becomes part of the appeal. Saturday, 3/28 is a good time to check out Totopia Brewery’s latest batch.
