Tasogare Lily announces first washoku dinner and serves three beers on tap
Tasogare Lily, a beer pub in Uchida-bashi, Minami Ward, Nagoya, used its June 19 Instagram post to announce the first provisional "Washoku no Kai." The tap list featured three beers from West Coast Brewing, Shiokaze Brewlab, and Uchu Brewing.
Tasogare Lily, a curry-and-beer pub in Uchida-bashi, Minami Ward, Nagoya, reported on Instagram on June 19 that it had held the first installment of its provisional "Washoku no Kai." The shop noted that even the tableware setup still had room to improve, which suggests this is a new format layered on top of its usual spice-curry-and-craft-beer identity.
The tap list
- West Coast Brewing, "The Lupulin Tree": Hazy Double IPA, 8.0%
- Shiokaze Brewlab, "Mango Impact": Fruited Pale Ale, ABV 6%
- Uchu Brewing, "P!P!P!": Pilsner, 5%
The lineup spans a hop-heavy Hazy Double IPA, a fruit-forward pale ale, and a clean pilsner. It is a balanced selection for food pairing, especially for an event built around Japanese dishes.
Washoku no Kai
The post also said the shop plans to hold the provisional Washoku no Kai on the third Friday of each month starting next month. The course is centered on seafood-focused Japanese cuisine prepared by a Japanese chef, priced at 6,000 yen per person including tax, with eight dishes. A sake tasting is included, and other drinks can be substituted. Reservations are accepted in person or via Instagram.
Tasogare Lily operates in two shifts on weekdays, from 12:00 at lunch with last orders at 14:00, then reopening at 17:00. On Saturdays and Sundays it runs straight through from 12:00 with last orders at 22:00, making it an easy place to pair craft beer with lunch or dinner.
