RIOT BEER Open on April 28

At the brewpub "RIOT BEER" in Kinuta, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, business hours have been announced for April 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The post says the day will be run as "Junko-san's Obanzai Day," so it should be a day where you can enjoy food along with beer.

RIOT BEER is a small brewery and taproom about a 7-minute walk from Soshigaya-Okura Station on the Odakyu Line. Even though it's in a residential neighborhood, the taproom has a laid-back atmosphere where you can drop in for just one drink.

According to the shop's description, its brewing focus is malt-forward. It specializes in beers with a rich mouthfeel that bring out the sweet, toasty character of malt.

As for the kinds of beers available, they include malty English-style, Belgian-style, and hoppy American-style beers, making it a brewery suited to people who want to compare a wide range of styles. Rather than flashy gimmicks, it's the kind of place for people looking for craft beer you can enjoy slowly as part of everyday life.

The post also notes that the next day marks the start of Golden Week, and announces upcoming plans after the weekend: "BEER FEST 2026" at AEON Mall Makuhari, followed by "The Beer Exhibition" in Kashiwazaki. Starting with a drink at the Setagaya taproom, RIOT BEER is also drawing attention for its movement toward the event season.
