The Ebisu, Tokyo shop TAP & TUMBLER announced in a post on April 20, 2026 that it had tapped PASS's Rice Lager right after opening. The post also said that the beer was quickly blown through, and described the team connecting one beer after another.

The shop is a craft beer self-pour specialty store, a 2-minute walk from Ebisu Station. It uses a self-serve style in which customers pour their own drinks inside the shop, taking a glass and a POUR card before serving themselves as much as they like. Beer is charged in 0.1-ounce increments, making it easy to sample small amounts of labels that catch your eye. In addition to 15 taps that change daily, centered on domestic beers, there are more than 40 mainly imported bottles.

That day's post also noted that the air conditioner had just been cleaned, so the shop was nice and cool, making it a good place to enjoy a first drink while avoiding the heat. It accommodates counter drinking, and also offers canned sales and growler fills by the ounce. It is also welcoming to solo customers, pet owners, and people with children, giving off an easygoing atmosphere. Reservations and today's tap list can be checked from the profile, so it's a good idea to look before you go.
