WhaleBrewing Yobuko Reopens Limited Helles Lager Tap, Offered in Limited Quantities
WhaleBrewing Yobuko Craft Beer Brewery (Karatsu, Saga) announced the tapping of its limited-brew Helles Lager. The popular label, which had sold out, is back on tap. At the local taproom, you can enjoy it fresh on site, and take-home bottles are also available.
WhaleBrewing Yobuko Craft Beer Brewery has resumed serving its limited-brew Helles Lager. According to an announcement on Instagram, the beer had once sold out, and is now back on tap.
Helles Lager is crafted to deliver a clean, crisp drinking experience and a refreshing finish. While it goes down easily, it is said to offer a gentle malt sweetness toward the end. Rather than flashiness, it is presented as a well-balanced, classic lager.
The main serving spot is the taproom attached to the brewery. Its strength lies in being able to enjoy craft beer made at the factory in its freshly brewed state. Take-home bottles are also available to meet souvenir demand.
WhaleBrewing is based in the Yobuko area of Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, and its official website carries the phrase, "To once again raise the whale flag in this place." The region-focused vision of creating a scene where people gather through craft beer in Yobuko, once a bustling port town, runs through this limited reopening as well.
Helles Lager is being offered in limited quantities. Drinkers who do not want to miss the reopening should consider visiting soon.
