Nanto Shuzojo is a brewery located in Maekawa, Tamagusuku, Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture, and operates from within Okinawa World. It is known for its "OKINAWA SANGO BEER," brewed with coral water derived from underground water from Gyokusendo Cave, and its appeal lies in being able to encounter a distinctly Okinawan drink inside a tourist facility.
In this Instagram post, the brewery announced that it will have a booth at "Champuru~ Festival 2026 Spring," held from Saturday, May 2 to Monday, May 4 (national holiday). At the venue, it will offer four regular beers: Kölsch, Saison, IPA, and Passion Fruit, and will also serve "Sanpin Ale."
Sanpin Ale is a tea ale that incorporates the flavor of sanpin tea, a familiar drink among Okinawa residents, into beer. The post describes it as having a festive aroma and a gentle taste. The setup lets visitors compare the differences in drinking character across the classic Kölsch and Saison, while also enjoying the hop presence of the IPA, the fruity character of the Passion Fruit beer, and the aromatic spread of Sanpin Ale side by side.
Nanto Shuzojo also produces habushu and liqueurs, but this booth will focus mainly on its beer lineup. For anyone who wants to compare Okinawan craft beers at an event during the long holiday, this is booth information that makes the featured brands easy to spot.
