Hanazono Craft, based in Osaka's Hanazono area, has published a post sharing the current cherry blossom situation at Hanazono Rugby Stadium. The post says the cherry blossom buds have begun to swell, with blooms expected toward the weekend.

Timed to this development, the brewery introduced two seasonal cherry beers.

- Sakura Lager: steeped with cherry wood, with a smoky cherry-wood aroma
- Sakura Leaf Lager: steeped with cherry wood and leaves, with an aroma reminiscent of sakura mochi

Both are the same lager style, but the point is that you can compare them because their aroma design differs. It is a seasonal proposal that fits the short spring window and feels very much like a local brewery offering.

The post also announced that "Yozakura Beer Night" will be held on Wednesday, March 25. With cherry blossoms, music, and beer combined, the event is designed so visitors can also enjoy strolling around the Scrum Road area leading to Hanazono Rugby Stadium.

On its official website, Hanazono Craft also promotes beer making under the motto "A glass to brew yourself." It highlights brewing with German malt and filtered water. This cherry beer is a release that layers seasonal ingredients onto that lager foundation. For anyone in springtime Osaka who wants to savor the scenery and aroma together, it looks like a release not to miss.
