Two Days to Taste the Character of Awaji Island All at Once
At The Beer Shop Hirakata city, a beer pub on the 3rd floor of Hirakata Sun Plaza Building No. 3, directly connected to Hirakata City Station, the "Nami no Oto Brewing Special Feature Event" is being held from April 25 to 26. On the first day, Saturday, April 25, the shop has prepared 9 draft beers and 8 canned beers, for a total of 17 varieties. The lineup is designed so you can compare Awaji Island craft beer across a wide range of styles.
The draft lineup includes "Belgian White with Naruto Orange," "Wild Ginger," "Memory Lane 2," "Breakfast Club," "Wakaba," "Nova," "Still Dreaming 2," "Circle," and "Old Rookie 3." The signature beer, "Breakfast Club," is a coffee pale ale, and the shop says it is serving it with coffee beans sourced from Awajishima BASE COFFEE.
The event's appeal is not limited to beer. Awaji Island food is also available inside the shop, and there is also a onion UFO catcher and a garapon lottery for every 2,000 yen spent. In addition to drinking beer, visitors can enjoy the atmosphere and playful spirit of Awaji Island itself.
The Beer Shop Hirakata city has a calm interior that makes generous use of wood, and while it has the easygoing feel of a standing bar, its strength lies in carefully selecting domestic and international craft beers. Its convenient station access makes it easy to stop by for just one drink after work, or to come specifically for the tasting event and compare beers.
