Located in Jingu-mae, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, Tokyobeer Lab is a brewery that presents an experience combining beer and music. On its official website, it describes itself as “a laboratory to enjoy beer and music,” and its taproom goes beyond simply serving beer by hosting DJ live performances and Radio Broadcasts, creating a distinctive world of its own.

In an Instagram post on April 8, DRAGON MIRAGE was introduced as “on tap.” Although no details beyond the post title could be confirmed, the simple announcement of it being on tap suggests that it is currently standing out as a beer you can drink right there at the shop.

On the brewery’s official website, “OUR BEERS” features TROPICAL PUNCH, a Sour IPA; IMPERIAL CRIMSON, an Imperial Gose; SEVENTH HEAVEN, a West Coast IPA; CLOUDY CROP, a Wheat-OAT TIPA; and HELIX HAZE, an OAT Cream TIPA, among others. The lineup emphasizes collaborations and experimental designs, and the range of styles is broad. Within that context, DRAGON MIRAGE also seems like the kind of beer whose impression comes through more strongly when tasted on site.

The taproom is located at URAHARA CENTRAL APARTMENTS 101 in the Harajuku area of Tokyo. As a place where the character of the beer and the atmosphere of music can be enjoyed at the same time, Tokyobeer Lab’s communications remain worth watching.
