Nagano Brewery to Host Hop Harvest and Bee Honey Experience on July 26
Nagano Brewery will hold a summer-only field experience on July 26 in Ojoji, Nagano City. The reservation-only event invites elementary school students and older to harvest hops and learn about honey extraction from bees, with beer vouchers offered after the session.
Nagano Brewery is a craft brewery in Ojoji, Nagano City. On its official site, the brewery describes the area as a place associated with the song "Yuyake Koyake" and says it is working to connect craft brewing with circular farming and local agriculture.
Its latest Instagram post announces a summer-only event in the fields. Participants will harvest hops, the key ingredient in beer, and also join a honey experience linked to the bees that work in the orchard. The brewery presents the program as a way to show how beer begins in the field, not only in the brewhouse.
