At "444 BEYOND" in Higashi-Mizue, Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, two new taps were announced. The shop is a craft beer stand / beer pub in the Mizue area, and its appeal lies in both the easygoing distance that makes it convenient for everyday use and a lineup that lets you follow each label closely.

The two beers introduced that day were the Pale Ale "Bon voyage!" by Gifu's CAMADO BREWERY and the Cold IPA "Kagayaki E7" by Toyama's Johana Beer.

"Bon voyage!" is a collaboration beer brewed with Tamaki Sake Shop, a liquor store in Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture, for a bonsai exhibition. It is designed with a malty nuance that gives off a toasty impression, layered with a botanical aroma reminiscent of a green forest, making it easy to imagine a calm, easy-drinking beer.

On the other hand, "Kagayaki E7" is an IPA made with locally grown Koshihikari rice. It combines the mellow character derived from rice with the citrusy hop aroma and bitterness that are characteristic of Johana Beer, so as its name suggests, you can expect a flavor with a clear, distinct outline.

The post said the shop would be open on Tuesday, March 31, from 16:00 to 22:00, with last orders at 21:30. For anyone in Higashi-Mizue looking to compare two beers with very different personalities, this is an intriguing lineup.
