New Release: "NIGHT RIDER ROUTE26♯012"

At the beer pub "Stand Umineko SiB100" in Shibuya, Tokyo, Derailleur Brew Works' new beer "NIGHT RIDER ROUTE26♯012" was introduced. The style is Session IPA, with ABV 4.5%, IBU 33, and SRM 3.5. It uses malt made in the U.S. and Germany, hops Magnum, Mosaic, Nectaron, and Krush, and BRY-97 yeast.

This beer is a renewed revival release that followed "NIGHT RIDER ROUTE26" and "NIGHT RIDER CLEAR WATER REVIVAL." This is the 12th batch, and the malt composition, hops, and yeast have all been revisited. While shifting the body to a Pilsner-centered base, it keeps the light, drinkable character intact. By adding the four hops in stages, it brings together layered aromas and a pronounced bitterness, resulting in a finish that balances juiciness with easy drinkability.

BRY-97 yeast is used to ensure a clean, dry fermentation profile. The design makes hop-derived aromas easier to perceive clearly, giving it a distinctive drinking presence even within the lightness of a Session IPA. The official announcement also says to "start with a pint," making it a beer that works both as a first drink and as something to enjoy slowly.

The venue is inside the Derailleur Building at 2-16-2 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, about a 5-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station. It opens at 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, 3:00 p.m. on Fridays and the day before holidays, and 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. If you're looking for a new IPA in Shibuya, this is one to check out.
