BEER OLYN in Kagurazaka adds two West Coast Brewing anniversary beers
On July 6, BEER OLYN in Kagurazaka announced a return to regular service after its anniversary weekend and introduced two West Coast Brewing 7th-anniversary beers: Cloud 7 and Watermelon Fruit Monster.
BEER OLYN, a beer pub in Kagurazaka, shared new arrivals from West Coast Brewing in Shizuoka as it reopened after its anniversary weekend. The post thanked guests who visited over the Saturday and Sunday celebration and said the beers arriving during the anniversary period would be introduced one by one.
The two featured beers are both WCB 7th-anniversary releases. First is Cloud 7, a Hazy Double IPA at 8.0% ABV. The post describes layered aromas of peach and nectarine, followed by tropical notes like pineapple and mango, with a pleasant dank edge. It is an easy pick for anyone looking for a soft, juicy hazy IPA.
The second beer is Watermelon Fruit Monster, a Sour Double IPA with watermelon, guava, rhubarb, and ginger, also at 8.0% ABV. It is presented as a special anniversary edition built around bright fruit character and a lively sour profile. For drinkers who like fruit-forward sour beer with a bit of spice, this is the more adventurous choice.
BEER OLYN is located on the 3rd floor of DEAR Kagurazaka in Shinjuku, Tokyo. As a neighborhood beer pub, it is the kind of place where guests can slow down and compare guest beers carefully. These two WCB releases fit that format well and give the bar a fresh post-anniversary lineup.
