The beer pub "umbrella" in Sonezaki, Osaka, will open at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3. In its Instagram post, alongside the opening announcement, the day's tap list was introduced, offering a wide selection from craft beer to a standard lager.

That day's lineup consists of five beers: Akkeshi Coast IPA (Yuitriere / Hokkaido), Awawa Sour (Kamigata Beer / Osaka), Mugichu Bitter (Minoh Beer / Osaka), draft Guinness (Guinness), and Kirin Lager (Kirin Brewery). From a hop-forward West Coast IPA, to a tart Sour Ale, to an English Bitter with plenty of malt character, and even draft Guinness, it's a selection you can choose from depending on your mood.

The shop's post also mentions that ZORN will appear on the TV program "MUSIC STATION DREAM LIVE" and perform "Jimoto LOVE feat. Maki Goto." While it says it's a shame the show can't be watched inside the shop, the post also announces the start of business, giving off the same music-and-beer atmosphere that feels so much like umbrella.

It also includes information about a discount beer ticket. It is equivalent to six of the smallest serving sizes of craft beer, and at umbrella downstairs, Guinness pints are also eligible. The price is 5,800 yen, valid until six months after the date of purchase, and available only while supplies last.

For a day when you want to casually compare craft beer and standard draft beer in central Osaka, this is a spot worth keeping in mind. Since opening day starts at 6:00 p.m., it's an easy place to stop by after work.
