Heading to Tsukuba Craft Beer Fest 2026
Yellowbeerworks is a brewery based in Fukushima City, launched in 2020 by Kato Farm, which grows rice on about 50 hectares and also cultivates its own barley and hops. That farm background is part of the brewery’s identity, linking raw ingredients to the finished beer. In the Instagram post, Yellowbeerworks was introduced as one of the breweries taking part in Tsukuba Craft Beer Fest 2026.
The featured beer for the event is "Juicy pop / Hezy IPA." The post describes it as offering grapefruit-like citrus character and a full, rich mouthfeel, with meat listed as the recommended food pairing. The lineup suggests a beer built for flavor intensity rather than light session drinking.
The festival will run from October 16 to 18 at Tsukuba Center Plaza, right by TX Tsukuba Station. Admission is free. Drinks are served with reusable cups bought on site or with visitors’ own mugs, while food is sold separately at vendor booths. Seating is limited, so bringing a picnic sheet, a small table, or a chair is encouraged. For beer fans, it is a convenient city-center festival setting to try Yellowbeerworks alongside other breweries.
