Hyogo-based Naminooto Brewing announced on Instagram that it will exhibit at "Kyoto Yuagari Craft Beer Festival 2026 After Bath Craft Beer," held in Kyoto on May 2 and 3, 2026. In the post, the brewery said this will be its first time exhibiting in Kyoto and that it will also be its first time participating in this event.
The event venue is the futsal court at the super sento "Fushimi Chikara no Yu." Hours are 11:00 to 20:00, with last order at 19:30. Reception and bathing begin at 10:00, admission is free, and food and drinks are sold using a ticket system. It is said to be about a 5-minute walk from the nearest station, Takeda Station, making it easy to access. The post described it as an event bringing together up to 25 breweries from across Japan.
Naminooto Brewing is a small brewery founded in June 2023 near Keino Matsubara on Awaji Island. On its official store, it promotes a circular beer-making approach that makes use of the bounty of barley, wheat, fruit, and other ingredients grown on Awaji Island, while returning spent grain to the local community as fertilizer and feed. As the first small brewery in Minamiawaji City, it has continued brewing recipes that reflect the character of the land, so its first participation in a Kansai beer event can be seen as a step toward broadening its reach.
This post did not mention any specific beers to be served, but it will be interesting to see what kind of beer this brewery, which has highlighted the character of Awaji Island ingredients, will pour at the Kyoto venue. Timed to Golden Week, it is also drawing attention as an event where visitors can enjoy a post-bath beer.
