A guest beer announcement has arrived from the beer pub CRAFT BEER BAR JAMPY in Sakata, Yamagata, to brighten its anniversary celebration.
In an Instagram post on May 14, it was announced that JAMPY would brew a JAMPY 8th Anniversary Special Beer, made by Okamocchan, the brewer at Ehime Kajitsu Hime Beer. The base beer is a fruit beer made with about 60% Satonishiki cherry juice, suggesting a brew that puts the fruit character front and center.
According to the post, Okamocchan is also scheduled to visit from Ehime for the anniversary event on Wednesday, May 27. The brewer who handled the brewing will be on site, making it a chance to hear directly about the beer's background and the intention behind it.
JAMPY is a beer pub in Nakamachi, Sakata City. Since it is the kind of place where guest beers naturally fit, it makes sense that a special brew was chosen as the centerpiece of the anniversary plan. This beer promises the bright, distinctive fruitiness of Satonishiki, different from citrus, and should appeal not only to fruit beer fans but also to people who usually drink ales or lagers.
On the day of the anniversary event, guests will likely be able to enjoy both JAMPY's close-up, beer-friendly atmosphere and the story behind a pint from Ehime.
