Freehouse-THE YEAST, a standout presence in Asahikawa's craft beer scene, is hosting an event that brings together a powerful pairing of food and beer. This time, the star is Jinsei Gyoza, the well-known Nakagawa Ward, Nagoya shop credited as the originator of Sara Taiwan ramen. According to the post, the Mizutani couple will visit Asahikawa and serve the shop's signature Sara Taiwan ramen at Freehouse-THE YEAST.

The event runs for three days. The announced serving hours are as follows.

- March 20, 16:00-24:00 (Sara Taiwan last order 20:00)
- March 21, 13:00-24:00 (Sara Taiwan last order 19:00)
- March 22, 13:00-22:00 (Sara Taiwan last order 19:00)

Another highlight for beer fans is the release of a collaboration beer timed to the event. The beer announced in the post is SO SO GOOD LAGER / Poured Lager. The description says it is a lager designed to pair with Sara Taiwan, whose bold flavors of minced meat, garlic, and chives call for a beer that can stand up as a food-pairing companion.

Freehouse-THE YEAST is a beer pub located at 37-5, 8-chome, 6-jo-dori, Asahikawa, Hokkaido. Its appeal lies in the ability to layer local food culture from another region onto the usual craft beer experience. The post also notes that Sara Taiwan will be served until sold out, and that one drink per person is required. Even if you're going mainly for the food, it's worth pairing it properly with beer and enjoying both together.
