Neko no Shukaijo, a craft beer and spice food bar in Umegaoka, Setagaya, has received Nara Brewing’s TIMMUR.
According to the venue’s announcement, the beer is being offered in cans first, with draft service to be connected once a tap becomes available. That format suits a place built around both craft beer and spice-forward food, making TIMMUR an easy candidate for a food-pairing glass as much as a standalone pour.
TIMMUR is an amber lager created by Nara Brewing in collaboration with OLD NEPAL TOKYO. It is brewed with timmur, a Nepalese pepper, and is known for a citrus-like aroma, malty sweetness, hop bitterness, and a subtle lingering numbing spice in the finish.
Neko no Shukaijo is located at 1-22-12 Umegaoka, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, in the Earth Umegaoka No. 2 building, 1F. For drinkers looking for something with character, the current can release is the first checkpoint, with draft to follow when the tap opens.
