New on tap: Brighten Up
Craft beer kitchen Kokoro no Tsuki, a beer pub in Yokohama’s Nogeyama area, will open Reuben’s Brews’ Brighten Up as its new tap on Saturday, October 10.
The beer uses Mosaic, Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, and Simcoe hops. According to the venue, it offers vivid grapefruit and passion-fruit-like aromas with a clean, refreshing finish. Its bright hop character should work well both as a standalone pour and alongside food.
The six-beer tap list

Craft beer with Chinese cuisine
Kokoro no Tsuki pairs its beer selection with Chinese dishes such as steamed chicken with green peppercorn and scallion sauce, eggplant with ginger soy sauce, mapo tofu, Shanghai-style fried noodles, and spicy wontons. The combination of hop-driven beer and aromatic, savory dishes makes it a natural stop for drinkers who enjoy exploring food pairings.
The pub is scheduled to open at 2 p.m. on October 10. Beer availability may change, so guests should confirm the current taps when they visit.
