麥酒 夢詠ミ, a beer pub in Kyoto’s Gion district, has tapped The Green Man English IPA from Noroshi Brewing.

According to the pub’s post, the beer will be available on Saturday, September 26, from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. The Green Man is described as the kind of beer one might imagine an older gentleman enjoying in a quiet countryside pub in England. The emphasis is on a calm, classic drinking experience rather than a flashy showcase beer.

The pub recommends it for guests looking to enjoy a good beer in a peaceful setting on a rainy Saturday. Food for the day includes fried chicken tenderloin and autumn eggplant, prepared from a recipe by Kome-chan.

The post also notes that Field Ales’ fresh-hop pint has finished service, while a dark version is planned for a future delivery. On September 27, the pub expects to offer only Yebisu and BIRD from Brasserie Knot on draft because of special opening arrangements.

麥酒 夢詠ミ is located on the second floor of Shimaya Building at 206 Nakano-cho, Shijo-dori Yamato-oji Nishi-iru, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto. On September 26, the pub will close promptly at 11 p.m. for preparations for the following day’s event.
