Osaka pub Umbrella adds Mister Dunk and Hoppzilla Mega Motueka on tap
Beer pub Umbrella in Osaka’s Sonezaki area opened at 6:00 p.m. on June 9 with two new kegs: Ise Kadoya Beer’s Mister Dunk and Two Rabbits Brewing’s Hoppzilla Mega Motueka. Draft Guinness, Kirin Lager, and Umechu are also on the board.
Beer pub Umbrella, located in the basement of a building near the O-hatsu Tenjin entrance in Osaka’s Sonezaki area, updated its tap list on this date. The room is described as a relaxed, wood-toned hideaway with counter seating, making it an easy stop for a solo pint, an after-work drink, or a second bar of the night.
Two new kegs
- Mister Dunk / Ise Kadoya Beer (Mie) 7.0%
- Hoppzilla Mega Motueka / Two Rabbits Brewing (Shiga) 4.5%
The post says both beers were newly tapped. On tap, Mister Dunk is listed as a DDH West Coast IPA, while Hoppzilla Mega Motueka is served as an Extra Pale Ale. It is a compact but hop-forward pair, well suited for a side-by-side tasting.

Umbrella’s lineup mixes local craft beer with familiar classics, which is part of the pub’s appeal. The venue also says it keeps a rotating selection of domestic and imported beers, alongside draft Guinness and Kirin Lager. Food is built to match the beer: small plates, salads, cured meats, cheese, and fish and chips are all part of the menu.
The shop also announced a beer ticket set covering six small pours, with draft Guinness included, and noted an upcoming closure on June 14. A 10th anniversary party for umbrella RiB is scheduled for July 11 and 12.
