Standing Beer Boy Shibuya PARCO Branch to Hold LIBUSHI Bashamichi TTO on April 11
Standing Beer Boy Shibuya PARCO Branch has announced its April event lineup along with a report on Motokawa and Kimoto's last day. On April 11 it will host LIBUSHI Bashamichi TTO, and on April 25 it will announce Brasserie Knot TTO. The current taps feature 10 beers, ranging from domestic and overseas classics to IPA and bitter styles.
Standing Beer Boy Shibuya PARCO Branch posted a look back at Motokawa and Kimoto's last day. Pint glasses were flying around inside the shop, and the day included live performances as part of the service. The lively standing-bar atmosphere, along with the close proximity where regulars and first-time visitors mix together, came through as part of the shop's character.
The post also mentioned that the two safely finished their final shift and will be entering the workforce in a few days. Located on B1F of Shibuya PARCO, where it is easy to stop by, the shop offers food and beer at a brisk pace, and the farewell atmosphere seems to have been bright and warm.
The upcoming event announcements are specific as well. First is "LIBUSHI Bashamichi TTO" on Saturday, April 11. In collaboration with AQ Bevolution, the shop says Mac & Albert will visit, and a brewer from 3 sons is also scheduled to join. In addition, "Brasserie Knot TTO" is set for Saturday, April 25, with an all-IPA lineup. Both dates are not to be missed for tap takeover fans.
The lineup listed was as follows.
- Bighand Bros / Pyrite
- Yellow Beer Works / Milk&
- Kanpai! Brewing / Kikusaka Bitter
- Oni Densetsu / Kikusaka Bitter
- Hansharo Beer / Thanks!
- Shiga Kogen Beer / SNOW MONKEY
- Romantic Village / HHH
- FACTION BREWING / HAMARU IPA
- Green Neighbors / Between the Fruits
- KIRIN / Heart Land
The selection spans domestic brewery staples, FACTION BREWING's IPA, and even Heartland, offering something for a wide range of tastes. The post also notes that Motokawa's beloved malty beer is still available, making this an appealing visit for anyone seeking a malty pint.
The shop is located on B1F of Shibuya PARCO, and another convenient point is that it opens from daytime on weekdays. Whether dropping in for a quick pint or timing a visit around an event, it is a place beer fans will want to keep on their schedule.
