Opening Overview

Eight Peaks Brewing, a craft beer brand from Chino City, Nagano Prefecture, will open its first directly operated draft beer specialty shop, “Ale Stand.” The location is a corner of 8Peaks Dining inside the Chino Station building “Belvia,” and the opening is scheduled for April 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.

As a brand that has continued making locally rooted beer from the foothills of the Yatsugatake mountains while proposing a “lifestyle with beer,” 8Peaks BREWING has built its identity around the region. This new shop looks set to be a place where those beers can be enjoyed in a form even closer to the dining scene.

Offerings

Ale Stand will operate with a total of eight taps, serving not only regular beers but also limited editions. There will be three sizes, S, M, and L, and a tasting set in S size will also be available. The M size is 325 ml, served in a glass inside the food court and in a plastic cup outside the food court.

8Peaks Dining itself is a food court-style venue where visitors can also order sake, wine, snacks, parfaits, rice balls, set meals, and more. Since crowds are expected right after opening, visitors without seating are also being guided to use takeaway service.

Usage Notes

Payment is cashless only; cash cannot be used. Orders are paid for in advance. On opening day, the shop is expected to open at 1:00 p.m. and will operate with a break in business hours.

Its location in front of Chino Station makes it easy for not only locals but also visitors heading to the Yatsugatake area or the Suwa region to stop by. As a new base where the brewery’s character can be enjoyed in a “fresh” form, different from bottles or cans, attention is likely to focus on how it develops after opening.
