IBREW Ebisu Ekimae Opens Three U.S. Beers, Four-Company Joint TAP TAKEOVER on April 11
At IBREW Ebisu Ekimae, three U.S. craft beers from Karl Strauss, El Segundo Brewing, and LA Ale Works have newly been tapped. A four-company TAP TAKEOVER is also scheduled for April 11, keeping the beer comparison scene lively in front of Ebisu Station.
Three U.S. beers tapped in springtime Ebisu
In a spring atmosphere that is sunny but a little chilly, IBREW Ebisu Ekimae announced new U.S. craft beer taps. The lineup includes Karl Strauss's `Boat Shoes IPA`, El Segundo Brewing's `Burn Off Hazy IPA`, and LA Ale Works' `Blue Vibes 2`. All three are IPA styles, creating a setup where you can compare a hazy IPA and a West Coast IPA.
Four-company event on April 11
Inside the venue, a Special Collaboration Beer Release by Yamamorido, Swan Lake Beer, karuizawa Q, and HEIWA CRAFT, along with a four-company TAP TAKEOVER, is scheduled for Saturday, April 11. About six beers from each company, for a total of 24 varieties, are planned to be tapped, and guest appearances from each brewery have also been announced from around 3 p.m. A rock-paper-scissors contest for merchandise is also planned, so it looks set to be a highly eventful day.
A beer pub you can drop into any day near Ebisu Station
IBREW Ebisu Ekimae is a beer pub in the STM Ebisu Building B2 in Ebisu Minami, open daily from 13:00 to 23:00. In addition to about 35 beers, it also offers food, making it easy to use for casual visits. In addition, the women-only ladies' gathering course is being extended through April, making it welcoming even for people who are not yet familiar with craft beer.
As the next event announcement, a release party for the Yatsugatake Touchdown Beer and Taihu Brewing collaboration beer, along with a double tap takeover, is also scheduled for April 19. As a place where new kegs keep getting connected in Ebisu, this is a shop with plenty of movement.
