At Inabiya Chiba Inage Beer Brewery in Inage Ward, Chiba City, the guest beer lineup has been refreshed. This time, a stronger version based on Minoh Beer’s standard IPA, “Osaru IPA,” has appeared.

In a post, the beer was introduced as having “a satisfying alcohol strength and bitterness.” Its color was described as “my favorite pale color,” while its aroma was described as “a soothing American hop aroma.” It is presented as something you can drink smoothly, but one that really starts to hit later, suggesting the satisfying heft typical of an IPA.

Inabiya is a brewery and restaurant that opened in July 2023, located about a five-minute walk from Inage-Higashi Go-Sa Crossing, between JR Inage Station and Keisei Inage Station. Because brewing takes place inside the shop, it can serve fresh beer without any transportation in between. It is well-liked as a community-based brewpub, offering beers brewed with local ingredients and three-beer comparison tastings.

This guest-beer swap adds a beer to the lineup that lets you clearly feel the hop aroma and bitterness. It seems like an appealing change not only for Minoh Beer fans, but also for anyone who wants to drink an IPA with a little more punch.
